Patricia Sarlé began her teaching career as a professor of early childhood education She studied her Bachelor and Master degrees in Education at University of Buenos Aires. In 2004, she received the degree of Doctor of Education from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) with a thesis entitled "The place of play in Early Childhood School". During 2007-2014 Dr. Sarlé was appointed Director of the Master´s Program in Early Childhood Education at University of Buenos Aires. She founded and coordinated the program "Childhood in network" of the digital educational portal Educared (2005-2010). She is currently teaching and researching in the Institute of Education Sciences of the UBA and Teacher Training Institutes in Early Childhood School. He is a member of the group of experts in early childhood education of the OEI (Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture). She has published several books and articles on child education, specifically in thematic on play and learning in school and in the curricular development for the training of teachers of the initial level. His current research is focused on the construction of categories for a new educational agenda on child rearing, especially taking the play and teaching practices of everyday life as the focus of analysis.
